AN ACT concerning

Alcoholic Beverages - Annapolis

FOR the purpose of permitting the Board of License
Commissioners of Annapolis to impose a certain fine for
violation of the alcoholic beverage laws of the City of
Annapolis.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

Section 203(g)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

203.

(g)(1) In Anne Arundel County the board of license
commissioners may impose a fine of not more than $1,000 in
lieu of suspension of a license for any violation that is
cause for suspension under the alcoholic beverage laws
affecting Anne Arundel County.

(2) IN THE CITY OF ANNAPOLIS, THE BOARD OF
LICENSE COMMISSIONERS MAY IMPOSE A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN
$1,000 IN LIEU OF SUSPENSION OF A LICENSE FOR ANY VIOLATION
THAT IS CAUSE FOR SUSPENSION UNDER THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE
LAWS OF THE CITY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
