AN ACT concerning

Annapolis - Alcoholic Beverages -
Board of License Commissioners

FOR the purpose of enabling the Mayor and aldermen of
Annapolis to delegate the authority to regulate
alcoholic beverage licensees to a certain subsidiary
board.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

Section 152

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

152.

In Annapolis, the mayor[, counsellor] and aldermen of
the City of Annapolis, [shall] MAY constitute the board of
license commissioners for [said city] THE CITY OR MAY
DELEGATE ALL OR ANY PORTION OF THE AUTHORITY TO REGULATE
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSEES TO A SUBSIDIARY BOARD
ESTABLISHED BY THE MAYOR AND ALDERMEN. The board of license
commissioners of Anne Arundel County shall have no
jurisdiction in the City of Annapolis.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
