(a)  The following units are in the Department:

(9) Mental Retardation AND DEVELOPMENTAL
DISABILITIES Administration.

Title 7. Mental Retardation AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES

7-101.

(b) "Administration" means the Mental Retardation AND
DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES Administration.

(g) "Group home" means a facility that:

(1)  Under [the] supervision [of a responsible
adult], provides a home for individuals who, because of
mental retardation OR A DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY, require
specialized living arrangements; and

(2)  Admits at least 4 but not more than 8
[mentally retarded] individuals.

7-103.

(b)  This title does not prevent mentally retarded
individuals OR NONRETARDED DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED
INDIVIDUALS from being eligible for:

(1)  Foster care;

(2)  Help in obtaining foster care; or

(3)  Any other services that the State Social
Services Administration or a local department of social
services provides.

There is a Mental Retardation AND DEVELOPMENTAL
DISABILITIES Administration in the Department.

7-202.

(c)  The Director shall be an individual who has
demonstrated competence in the [field] FIELDS of mental
retardation OR DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES and [its] THEIR
administration.
