SUPPLIES THAT EXCEEDS THE DOLLAR AMOUNT FOR WHICH

COMPETITIVE BIDDING IS REQUIRED BY MONTGOMERY COUNTY, UNDER
SECTION 314 OF THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY CHARTER AND SECTION

11B-12(A) OF THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY CODE.

[(2)] (3) This section does not apply to:

(i) The purchase of books or other
materials for instruction;

(ii) Emergency repairs required during the

regular academic year; or

(iii) Any contract or purchase made by a
county for a community college under procedures authorized
by the county charter or an act of the General Assembly.

(4) IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY THIS SECTION DOES NOT

APPLY TO:

(I) THE PURCHASE OF BOOKS OR OTHER

MATERIALS FOR INSTRUCTION;

(II) EMERGENCY REPAIRS;

(III) ANY CONTRACT OR PURCHASE MADE BY
MONTGOMERY COUNTY FOR MONTGOMERY COMMUNITY COLLEGE UNDER
PROCEDURES AUTHORIZED BY THE COUNTY CHARTER OR AN ACT OF THE
GENERAL ASSEMBLY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

report; providing for the publication of the report;
and generally relating to the issuance of an annual
financial report by the Montgomery County Housing
Opportunities Commission.
