In the enactment of the Health Occupations Article it
was the intent of the General Assembly to make no change in
the application fees of the Board of Pharmacy, and it is the
intent of this Act to make clear that the application fee in
§ 12-305 of the Health Occupations Article is the fee set by
the rules and regulations of the Board of Pharmacy; now,
therefore,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article - Health Occupations

6-202.

(c)  Each consumer member of the Board:

(1)   Shall be a member of the general public;

(2)  May not be or ever have been a mortician,
funeral director, or apprentice;

(3)  May not have a household member who is a
mortician, funeral director, or apprentice;

(4)  May not participate or ever have
participated in. a commercial or professional field related
to the practice of mortuary science;

(5)  May not have a household member who
participates in a commercial or professional field related
to the practice of mortuary science; and

(6)  May not have had within 2 years before
appointment a SUBSTANTIAL financial interest in a person
regulated by the Board.

(d)  While a member of the Board, a consumer member may
not have a SUBSTANTIAL financial interest in a person
regulated by the Board.

12-305.

(a) Subject to the provisions of this section, the
Board may make a reciprocal agreement with any other state
to waive any examination requirement of this title for an
individual who is licensed to practice pharmacy in that
state.

(b) An agreement made under this section may allow the
Board to grant a waiver only if the individual:

(1) Is of good moral character;
