SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT concerning

Health Occupations Article - Corrections

FOR the purpose of correcting provisions for qualifications
of and restrictions on consumer members of the State
Board of Morticians with regard to financial interest
in a person regulated by the Board; clarifying a
provision concerning an application fee for a license
to practice pharmacy; adding a prohibition as to use of
a certain term; correcting the name of the physicians'
licensing examination; correcting a cross-reference;
correcting references to certain unlicensed assistants
and aides; making a stylistic correction; clarifying
the definition of "recognized profession" in the
Psychologists Title; and correcting certain errors
relating to licensing of psychologists.
