SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

3-404.

A LICENSED CHIROPRACTOR MAY DELEGATE DUTIES TO AN
ASSISTANT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY THE RULES AND
REGULATIONS OF THE BOARD PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THAT IF THE
ASSIGNED DUTIES DO NOT REQUIRE THE PROFESSIONAL SKILL AND
JUDGMENT OF A LICENSED CHIROPRACTOR. THE RULES AND
REGULATIONS SHALL ALSO ESTABLISH QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE
POSITION OF CHIROPRACTIC ASSISTANT.

3-501.

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN SECTION 3-404 OF THIS
ARTICLE, A [A] person may not practice, attempt to practice,
or offer to practice chiropractic in this State unless
licensed by the Board.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
