(2) TO THE EXTENT PRACTICABLE, THE THE
ADMINISTRATOR SHALL ADOPT STANDARDS SIMILAR TO THE STANDARDS
ADOPTED FOR THE MARYLAND STATE POLICE.
(3) STANDARDS ADOPTED ON OR AFTER JULY 1, 1982,
ON MINIMUM HIRING QUALIFICATIONS OF MASS TRANSIT
ADMINISTRATION POLICE OFFICERS MAY NOT AFFECT THE STATUS OF
ANY INDIVIDUAL WHO WAS A QUALIFIED MASS TRANSIT
ADMINISTRATION SECURITY FORCE EMPLOYEE ON THAT DATE.
(D) THE ADMINISTRATOR WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE
SECRETARY SHALL ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE
OPERATION AND CONDUCT OF THE MASS TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION
POLICE FORCE.
(E) THE ADMINISTRATION MAY ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS WITH
POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS AND PUBLIC SAFETY AGENCIES, INCLUDING
THOSE OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, FOR THE DELINEATION OF THE
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ADMINISTRATION'S POLICE
FORCE.
(F) THE MASS TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION POLICE FORCE MAY
ISSUE CITATIONS FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE RULES AND REGULATIONS
ADOPTED BY THE ADMINISTRATION UNDER THIS TITLE.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning
Chiropractic Assistants
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Board of Chiropractic
Examiners to promulgate rules and regulations
permitting a licensed chiropractor to delegate to an
assistant certain duties which do not require the
professional skill and judgment of a licensed
chiropractor; and authorizing the Board to promulgate
rules and regulations establishing qualifications for
the position of chiropractic assistant.
