SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article - Health Occupations

13-315.

Subject to the hearing provisions of § 13-316 of this
subtitle, the Board may deny a license, temporary license,
or restricted license to any applicant, reprimand any
licensee or holder of a temporary license or restricted
license, place any licensee or holder of a temporary license
or restricted license on probation, or suspend or revoke a
license, temporary license, or restricted license if the
applicant, licensee, or holder:

(7) [Is convicted of [:] OR PLEADS GUILTY OR IS
FOUND GUILTY OF OR PLEADS NOLO CONTENDERE TO:

(7) IS CONVICTED OF OR PLEADS GUILTY OR NOLO
CONTENDERE TO:

(i) A felony; or

(ii) A crime involving moral turpitude;

13-408.

(A) EACH COURT SHALL REPORT TO THE BOARD EACH
CONVICTION OF OR ENTRY OF A PLEA OF GUILTY OR NOLO
CONTENDERE BY A PHYSICAL THERAPIST OR PHYSICAL THERAPIST
ASSISTANT FOR ANY FELONY OR CRIME INVOLVING MORAL TURPITUDE.

(B) THE COURT SHALL SUBMIT THE REPORT WITHIN 10 DAYS
OF THE CONVICTION OR ENTRY OF THE PLEA.
