AN ACT concerning

Water Quality Laboratories - Well Water -
Tests and Certificates

FOR the purpose of allowing certain water quality
laboratories that are certified by the Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene to test well water in this
State for certain standards and to issue certain
certificates.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 9-1011

Annotated Code of Maryland

Acts of the General Assembly of 1982)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland

(as enacted by Chapter ___ (H.B./S.B. ____) of the Acts of

the General Assembly of 1982) read(s) as follows:

Article - Health - Environmental

9-1011.

While it is effective, certification under this
subtitle authorizes the certified water quality laboratory
to:

(1)   [be] BE operated;

(2)  TEST WELL WATER FOR STATE STANDARDS AND
ISSUE CERTIFICATES OF APPROVAL.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
