AN ACT concerning

Public Service Commission - Industrial Parks Electric Power

FOR the purpose of correcting the applicability of the
termination date of a certain Act of the General
Assembly by providing that only provisions relating to
industrial parks electric power terminate at a certain
time; and extending the termination date of the Act by
a certain period.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,

Chapter 804 of the Acts of the General

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article 78 - Public Service Commission Law

54C.

(b) (1) In this section, "industrial park" means a
planned development primarily used for industrial or
commercial enterprises meeting local zoning requirements.

(2) If an industrial park located within a
municipal corporation receives high tension primary service
from more than one electric company, an owner or tenant of
the industrial park may purchase that power from the
electric company servicing the owner or tenant at the lower
of the rates charged by the electric companies.
