4-506. LICENSE REQUIRED.

(A)  IN GENERAL.

A PERSON SHALL BE LICENSED BY THE SECRETARY BEFORE THE
PERSON MAY OPERATE A COLD STORAGE WAREHOUSE IN THIS STATE.

(B)  SEPARATE LICENSE REQUIRED FOR EACH COLD STORAGE
WAREHOUSE.

A SEPARATE LICENSE IS REQUIRED FOR EACH COLD STORAGE
WAREHOUSE THE PERSON OPERATES.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first
sentence and the third sentence, as that sentence
referred to a license being required for each
warehouse, of former Article 43, § 231.

4-507. QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANTS.

TO QUALIFY FOR , A LICENSE, AN APPLICANT SHALL
DEMONSTRATE TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE SECRETARY THAT THE
COLD STORAGE WAREHOUSE FOR WHICH THE LICENSE IS TO BE ISSUED
IS:

(1)  IN A SANITARY CONDITION; AND

(2)  EQUIPPED PROPERLY FOR USE AS A COLD STORAGE
WAREHOUSE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the second clause
of the third sentence of former Article 43, §
231.

4-508. APPLICATIONS FOR LICENSES.

(A)  IN GENERAL.

AN APPLICANT FOR A LICENSE SHALL:

(1)  SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE SECRETARY ON
THE FORM THAT THE SECRETARY REQUIRES; AND

(2)  PAY TO THE SECRETARY A LICENSE FEE OF $25.

(B)  CONTENTS OF APPLICATION.
