AN ACT concerning

Insurance Division and Insurance Commissioner

FOR the purpose of continuing the existence of the Insurance
Division and the Insurance Commissioner in accordance
with the Regulatory Programs Evaluation Act of 1978
(Sunset Law) by extending to a certain date the
termination provisions for the Division and
Commissioner.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 48A - Insurance Code

Section 15A

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1979 Replacement Volume and 1981 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article 48A - Insurance Code

15A.

The provisions of this subtitle creating the Insurance
Division and Insurance Commissioner and relating to the
regulation of insurance and any regulations promulgated
under this article are of no effect and may not be enforced
after July 1, [1983] 1989 1993.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

State Board of Registration of Professional Land
Surveyors

FOR the purpose of continuing the State Board of
Registration of Professional Land Surveyors in
accordance with the Regulatory Programs Evaluation Act
of 1978 (Sunset Law) by extending to a certain date the
termination provisions for the Board.
