(1)  Meets the renewal AND REINSTATEMENT
requirements [of § 12-308 of this subtitle] SET BY RULE AND
REGULATION OF THE BOARD; and

(2)  Pays to the Board, in addition to the
renewal fee required under § 12-308 of this subtitle, a
reinstatement fee of $2 for each term that the pharmacist
has failed to submit a renewal application and fee within
the time required by the Board.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the State
Board of Pharmacy may adopt appropriate rules and
regulations to provide for the transition to issuing
licenses to practice pharmacy in even-numbered as well as
odd-numbered years.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of § 12-308 of the Health Occupations Article
governing renewal and reinstatement of licenses shall
continue in effect until the adoption by the State Board of
Pharmacy of rules and regulations concerning renewal and
reinstatement of licenses.

SECTION 3 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Act shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Board of Pharmacy - Licenses

FOR the purpose of altering the reinstatement requirements
for pharmacists having failed to renew their licenses
by allowing the Board of Pharmacy to set a
reinstatement fee and other reinstatement requirements
by rule and regulation.
