SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article - Estates and Trusts

2-108.

(f) Each of the judges of the court for Calvert County
shall receive as annual compensation the sum of [$2,000]
$2,500. THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY PROVIDE ADDITIONAL
FUNDS FOR EXPENSES FOR THE JUDGES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
may not be construed to extend or apply to the salary of the
judges of the Orphans' Court for Calvert County in office on
the effective date of this Act, but the provisions of this
Act concerning the salary of the judges of the Orphans'
Court for Calvert County shall take effect at the beginning
of the next following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

FOR the purpose of altering the age at which persons are
legally permitted to purchase, possess, or consume
certain alcoholic beverages, or remain in certain
business establishments or on certain premises;
changing the age of persons to whom alcoholic beverages
may be legally sold or given; making certain technical
changes and corrections to the language and style of
expression of certain provisions of the Code; altering
certain penalties; and generally relating to changing
the age at which persons are legally permitted to
