SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

2.

For the purposes of this article and unless otherwise
required by the context.

(t) "Consumer" means any natural person [over the age
of twenty-one (21)] 21 years OLD OR OLDER or in the case of
beer and light wine any person over the age of [eighteen
(18)] 19 years or any corporation not otherwise interdicted
by this article or any other law of this State, who buys,
possesses, keeps or transports alcoholic beverages upon
which the taxes provided by the tax provisions of this
article have been paid, for his own use and not for sale.
