FOR the purpose of removing the limitations on the salaries
of the Deputy and Assistant Deputy County Treasurers of
Queen Anne's County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 18 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1974 Edition, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland read(s) as follows:

Article 18 - Queen Anne's County

6-3.

The Deputy County Treasurer and Assistant Deputy County
Treasurer shall receive such compensation as the County
Commissioners of Queen Anne's County shall determine[, but
in no event to receive, less than an annual salary of two
thousand seven hundred dollars ($2,700.00) and two thousand
four hundred dollars ($2,400.00) respectively]; said
salaries to be paid by the County Commissioners of Queen
Anne's County.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
