SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland read(s) as follows:

Article 18 - Queen Anne's County

5-7.

No debt, demand [and], OR account due by the County
Commissioners shall be paid until [a voucher therefor shall
have been presented and examined by the County Commissioners
and approved in writing by a majority of them and a warrant
therefor, drawn upon the County Treasurer, shall have been
signed by the President or Vice-President of the County
Commissioners and its corporate seal thereto affixed, both
duly attested by the Clerk to the County Commissioners.] THE
DEBT, DEMAND, OR ACCOUNT IS APPROVED BY A MAJORITY OF THE
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Somerset County - The Fairmount Academy

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Board of County
Commissioners of Somerset County to deed the Fairmount
Academy property to the Fairmount Academy Historical
Association, Inc.; providing that the Fairmount Academy
property shall be dedicated to the collection and
preservation of historical material; and providing for
the dissolution or liquidation of the Academy.
