CHAPTER 64

(House Bill 818)

AN ACT concerning

Queen Anne's County - County Treasurer

FOR the purpose of authorizing any County Commissioner of
Queen Anne's County to countersign checks drawn by any
County Treasurer.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

The Public Local Laws of Queen Anne's County
Section 6-30

Article 18 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1974 Edition, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland read(s) as follows:

Article 18 - Queen Anne's County

6-30.

All the checks drawn by any County Treasurer shall be
countersigned by [the President or Vice President]ONE of the
County Commissioners, and all checks so countersigned shall
be conclusive as to the bank on which it is drawn and paying
same that a proper warrant has been issued therefor.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
