Queen Anne's County - County Treasurer
FOR the purpose of providing that the Deputy County
Treasurer of Queen Anne's County shall exercise the
legal powers and duties of the County Treasurer if that
office becomes vacant for any reason until the filling
of the vacancy; and providing that the Assistant Deputy
County Treasurer of Queen Anne's County shall exercise
the legal powers and duties of the County Treasurer if
the offices of the County Treasurer and Deputy County
Treasurer become vacant for any reason, until the
filling of the vacancy.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland read(s) as follows:
Article 18 - Queen Anne's County
6-6.
(a) The Deputy Treasurer shall perform such duties as
the County Treasurer may prescribe and in the event of the
absence, death, resignation, disability or disqualification
of the County Treasurer, or in case the office of the County
Treasurer shall for any cause become vacant, shall have and
exercise all of the powers and duties vested by law in the
County Treasurer[.] UNTIL THE FILLING OF THE VACANCY UNDER
SECTION 6-28 OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF QUEEN
ANNE'S COUNTY.
(b) The Assistant Deputy County Treasurer shall
perform such duties as the County Treasurer may prescribe
and in the event of the absence, death, resignation,
disability or disqualification of the County Treasurer and
Deputy County Treasurer, or in case the offices of the
County Treasurer and Deputy County Treasurer shall for any
cause become vacant, shall have and exercise all of the
powers and duties vested by law in the County Treasurer[.]
UNTIL THE FILLING OF THE VACANCY UNDER SECTION 6-28 OF THE
CODE OF PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
