AN ACT concerning

St. Mary's County - Economic Development Commission -

Pensions

FOR the purpose of providing that the Director of the
Economic Development Commission and the Director's
secretary shall receive a certain pension on
retirement.

BY adding to

The Public Local Laws of St. Mary's County
Section 26-17 H

Article 19 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1979 Edition, supplemented to December, 1980,
as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as
follows:

Article 19 - St. Mary's County

26-17.

H. (1) THE DIRECTOR OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION SHALL RECEIVE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE DIRECTOR'S
LIFE A RETIREMENT BENEFIT OF $300 PER MONTH FROM ST. MARY'S
COUNTY, PAYABLE BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FROM THE GENERAL
FUNDS OF THE COUNTY.

(2) THE SECRETARY TO THE DIRECTOR OF THE
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION SHALL RECEIVE FOR THE
REMAINDER OF THE SECRETARY'S LIFE A RETIREMENT BENEFIT OF
$150 PER MONTH FROM ST. MARY'S COUNTY, PAYABLE BY THE COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS FROM THE GENERAL FUNDS OF THE COUNTY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.
