FOR THE WASHINGTON, D.C. METROPOLITAN AREA AS OF MARCH 31,
SHALL HAVE CHANGED FROM THE PRECEDING MARCH 31; [, ]

2.   [be] BE provided with an
automobile for so long as they shall remain appointed
assistant sheriff, for the use and work of the office of
Sheriff, with adequate maintenance and insurance of the
automobile to be at the expense of the county[,]; and

3.   [be] BE provided with an expense
allowance of not more than $1,000 annually, an accounting of
which shall be submitted to the County Director of Finance
for approval.

(III) The assistant sheriffs shall devote
their full time and attention to the office of Sheriff.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect January 1, 1983 July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

St. Mary's County - Salaries of County Commissioners

FOR the purpose of altering the annual salaries of the
president and other members of the St. Mary's County
Commission; making stylistic changes; and providing
that this Act does not affect the incumbent office
holders in St. Mary's County.
