uses less than the full amount of sick leave allowable, such
unused leave shall be accumulated and shall be available to
such employee for sick leave at any time. Nothing in this
section may cause an employee to lose any sick leave
accumulated as of December 31, 1974. Before receiving any
pay for the period of absence, an employee using three or
more consecutive working days sick leave in any 30-day
period shall present an original certificate signed
personally by AN ACCREDITED CHRISTIAN SCIENCE PRACTITIONER
OR BY any of the following licensed OR CERTIFIED medical
providers: physician, physical therapist, dentist, [or] oral
surgeon, [or by any of the following certified medical
providers:] clinical psychologist, chiropractor, or
podiatrist[, or by an accredited Christian Science
practitioner]. The Secretary of the Department of Personnel
may advance up to 60 days of sick leave to an employee in
any calendar year for a serious disability, ailment or
illness.
Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes
326.
The tax hereby levied does not apply to the following
sales:
(1-1) Sales of hemodialysis drugs and devices sold by
registered pharmacists or jobbers, distributors,
wholesalers, manufacturers, or other suppliers of
hemodialysis drugs and devices permitted by § [270B of
Article 43 of the Code] 12-603 OF THE HEALTH OCCUPATIONS
ARTICLE, directly to patients who require regular treatment
in their homes by a kidney machine because of the permanent
loss of the function of their kidneys.
Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings
9-120.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 59 or the
provisions of any other law, a psychologist certified under
the ["Psychologists'] "MARYLAND PSYCHOLOGISTS Certification
Act" and qualified as an expert witness may testify on
ultimate issues, including insanity, competency to stand
trial, and matters within the scope of that psychologist's
special knowledge, in any case in any court or in any
administrative hearing.

(a) Records, reports, statements, notes, or
information assembled or obtained by the State Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene, the Maryland Commission to Study
Problems of Drug Addiction, the Medical and Chirurgical
Faculty or its allied medical societies, an in-hospital
staff committee, or a national organized medical society or
research group, which are declared confidential by § 1-I [or
