Subsection (e) of this section is standard
language added to this and, where necessary,
corresponding sections of other titles of this
article to state expressly that, if an applicant
is required to take an examination under this
subtitle, then the applicant must pass that
examination before the applicant may be licensed.

15-303. APPLICATIONS FOR LICENSES.

TO APPLY FOR A LICENSE, AN APPLICANT SHALL:

(1) SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE BOARD ON THE
FORM THAT THE BOARD REQUIRES; AND

THE BOARD.

(2) PAY TO THE BOARD THE APPLICATION FEE SET BY

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first part of
the first sentence of Art. 43, § 487(a).

In item (1) of this section, the reference to the
application being on the form required by the
Board is standard language added to this and,
where necessary, corresponding sections of other
titles of this article. It states expressly a
provision that presently is only implied in the
law. This addition conforms with current Board
practice.

As to the authority of the Board to set fees, see
§ 15-206 of this title.

15-304. EXAMINATIONS.

(A)  RIGHT TO EXAMINATION.

AN APPLICANT WHO OTHERWISE QUALIFIES FOR A LICENSE IS
ENTITLED TO BE EXAMINED AS PROVIDED IN THIS SECTION.

(B)  TIME AND PLACE OF EXAMINATION.

THE BOARD SHALL GIVE EXAMINATIONS TO APPLICANTS AT
LEAST TWICE A YEAR, AT THE TIMES AND PLACES THAT THE BOARD
DETERMINES.

(C)  NOTICE OF EXAMINATION.

THE BOARD SHALL NOTIFY EACH QUALIFIED APPLICANT OF THE
TIME AND PLACE OF EXAMINATION.

(D)  METHOD OF EXAMINATION.
