in the law — i.e., that, if the budget permits
the Board may employ a staff.

In subsection (a) of this section, the present
provision calling for a quorum of a "majority of
the members" is restated as a "majority of the
full authorized membership". This language
conforms with Board practice. As to the present
"full authorized membership" of the Board, see §
ll-202(a)(l) of this subtitle.

In subsection (b) of this section, the present
reference to the first Board meeting is deleted
as obsolete.

As to subsection (c) of this section, Standard
State Travel Regulations are adopted by the
Department of Personnel with the approval of the
Board of Public Works.

11-205. MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES.

IN ADDITION TO THE DUTIES SET FORTH ELSEWHERE IN THIS
TITLE, THE BOARD SHALL:

(1)  KEEP A BOOK THAT:

(I)  LISTS EACH LICENSED DOCTOR OF
OSTEOPATHY; AND

(II)  IS OPEN TO PUBLIC INSPECTION WITH
PROPER RESTRICTIONS FOR ITS SAFEKEEPING;

(2)  KEEP A RECORD OF:

(I)  EACH LICENSE APPLICANT;

(II)  THE NAME AND LOCATION OF THE
INSTITUTION THAT GRANTED A DEGREE OF DOCTOR OF OSTEOPATHY TO
THE APPLICANT;

(III)  THE DATE THE DIPLOMA WAS ISSUED TO
THE APPLICANT;

(IV)  WHETHER THE LICENSE IS GRANTED OR
DENIED; AND

(V)  THE LICENSE NUMBER, IF A LICENSE IS
GRANTED;

(3)  KEEP A RECORD OF ITS PROCEEDINGS THAT RELATE
TO EXAMINATIONS;

(4)  ADOPT AND USE AN OFFICIAL SEAL;
