AN EMERGENCY ACT to repeal and reenact Section 8-7,
title "Existing Buildings" of Chapter 8, title "Buildings"
of the Montgomery County Code, 1972, as amended, to reduce
the amount of alterations, repair or fire damage needed for
the Department of Environmental Protection Director to
determine to what degree the repairs must conform to the
requirements for new buildings.
Effective Date February 13, 1980.

Chapter 57
AN ACT to add a new Chapter 2B, title "Agricultural
Land Preservation" to the Montgomery County Code 1972, as
amended, to follow immediately after Chapter 2 thereof, to
provide for a system to aid in the preservation of
agricultural land in the County by the creation of
agricultural districts and an agricultural preservation
advisory board providing for powers and duties of the
advisory board, the Montgomery County Planning Board, the
County Executive, and of the County Council in relation to
agricultural districts; defining certain terms; providing
for purchase of easements; providing for termination or
modification of districts under certain conditions and
repurchase of easements; and generally relating to
preservation of agricultural land.

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Chapter 2, title
"Administration", of the Montgomery County Code 1972, as
amended, by repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
subsections (b)(2) and (3) of Section 2-18, title
"Continuity of government", to change the designation of
emergency interim successors for the County Executive.
