AN ACT for the purpose of reimbursing employees and
elected or appointed officers of Baltimore County for
expenses of defending criminal prosecution arising out of
acts or omissions committed within the scope of their
employment or the performance of their duties, and in
certain instances to provide for the defense of civil
actions brought against employees and elected or appointed
officers of Baltimore County or the reimbursement of certain
legal expenses expended in the defense of actions brought
against employees or elected or appointed officers of
Baltimore County, by adding NEW Sections 2-137 through
2-140, title "Administration", Article VI. Miscellaneous
Provisions, Division 6. "Reimbursement for Criminal and
Civil Actions" of the Baltimore County Code, 1978.

AN ACT generally relating to Baltimore County's Animal
Law (title "Animals" of the Baltimore County Code, 1978)
including, certain definitions, registration requirements,
approval of applications for search and seizure warrants,
confinement of female dogs in heat, customary animal
husbandry practices, animals running at large, SWIVEL
DEVICES FOR DOGS, SHELTER FOR DOGS, stray animals and
trapping; by repealing and re-enacting, with amendments, the
definitions of "Fancier", "Farm - cat", and "Holding
facility"; by repealing the definition "Riding school or
stable" and enacting new definition "Commercial stable" all
under Section 3-1. Definitions. of Article I.
Administration; by repealing and re-enacting, with
amendments, Sections 3-12(b) of Article I; Sections 3-17(a),
and 3-20(c) of Article II. Licensing and Sections 3-33 and
3-36 of Article IV. Owner Requirements; by repealing Section
3-20(a) of Article II. Licensing and enacting a new Section
3-20(a) in lieu thereof; by repealing Section 3-29(c) of
Article IV. Owner Requirements and by adding new Section
3-39A TO ARTICLE IV. OWNER REQUIREMENTS AND NEW SECTION
3-59. Trapping, and new Section 3-60. Picking up stray
animals to Article IX. Miscellaneous; all of title
"Animals" of the Baltimore County Code, 1978.
