AN ACT to change the qualifications of applicants for
the deferral of Metropolitan District charges and the time
and manner in which such applications must be filed, by
repealing and re-enacting with amendments, §§ 34-62.1(a),
(b) and (c), Article III. Metropolitan District, title
"Water, Sewers, Sewage Disposal and Drains" of the Baltimore
County Code, 1978.

AN ACT for the purpose of redefining the various
bureaus of the Department of Public Works, and the Bureau of
Construction Inspection, and to permit an employee of the
Department of Public Works to be designated as the roads
engineer, chief sanitary engineer of the metropolitan
district, or the supervisor of garbage and cleaning by
repealing § 2-13 of Title "Administration", Article II.
Bureaus and Departments, Division 1, "Department of Public
Works" of the Baltimore County Code, 1978, and enacting a
new § 2-13 in lieu thereof.

AN ACT to provide for licensing of secondhand precious
metals dealers, to prohibit purchase of secondhand precious
metals without a license, to require display of the license,
to require certain books, records, and information to be
kept by the dealer at the business location, to require the
retention of certain property for a specified period after
complying with reporting requirements, to prohibit purchase
from minors without parent or guardian being present, to
require reporting of information to the Baltimore County
Police Department, to authorize inspection of certain
records and property by the Baltimore County Police
Department to authorize County Police to extend the
retention period or take possession of certain property, to
provide for a license application and issuance, to authorize
the Baltimore County Police Department to transfer
information to other jurisdictions, and to provide penalties
for violations of the requirements; by adding new Article
