inclusive, of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 6, "Crimes and Misdemeanors", Subtitle
2, "Animals", and to repeal Sections 12-700 through 12-711,
inclusive, of the same Code, Title 12, "Licenses, Permits
and Franchises", Subtitle 7, "Dogs", and to add new Sections
6-200 through 6-265, inclusive, to the same Code, Title 6,
"Crimes and Misdemeanors", to be under new Subtitle 2,
"Animal Control", such Subtitle and Section therein to stand
in place of the former "Animals" subtitle repealed herein,
to establish new animal control regulations for Anne Arundel
County, to establish an Anne Arundel County Animal Control
Commission with certain powers and duties, to establish
certain animal license classes and license fees, to
establish certain definitions, animal license conditions and
administrative procedures, to establish certain penalties
and enforcement remedies for violations of animal control
regulations, providing for hearings under certain
circumstances, establishing certain appeal procedures,
establishing duties, powers and responsibilities of the
Animal Control Agency and its employees, and generally
relating to the regulation of animals in Anne Arundel
County.

AN ORDINANCE to amend the Charter of Anne Arundel
County, Maryland, by repealing and reenacting, with
amendments, Article VI, "County Board of Appeals", Section
601, "County board of appeals; appointment; term;
compensation"; to authorize the County Council to provide by
ordinance for the designation of alternate members to the
County Board of Appeals for certain terms on an ad hoc
basis; and to require the Council to provide for the
establishment of qualifications, compensation and method of
designation of such temporary members and conditions under
which temporary members may be designated.

Effective Date August 4, 1980.

Subtitle 4, "General Development Plan", to repeal and
reenact, with amendments. Maps S-3, and S-5 and S-7 of the
Anne Arundel County Master Plan for Water Supply and
Sewerage Systems, F.Y. 1980-1999", as adopted by the County
Council by Bill No. 20-80; to change the boundary lines of
the Cox Creek Service Area to include the subject property
