adoption of the Charter all of which requirements having
been fulfilled; to remove from the Charter certain language
which related to the transition from the prior county
commissioner form of government to the form of government
established under the Charter, which transition has been
fully accomplished; to submit said amendments to the
qualified voters of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, for their
adoption or rejection; and matters generally related
thereto.

County, Maryland by repealing and reenacting, with
amendments, Article IV, "The County Executive", Section
405(h), "Powers and duties of the office"; by repealing and
reenacting, with amendments, Article V, "The Executive
Branch", Section 518, "Qualifications of the personnel
officer", by repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article VII, "Budgetary and Fiscal Procedures", Section 708,
"Public hearing", Section 718, "Composition and limitation
upon county funds and levies, etc.", sub-section (h),
"Reserve fund for permanent public improvements"; by
repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article IX,
"Centralized Purchasing", Section 908, "Contract execution";
to correct certain semantic inconsistencies; to submit said
amendments to the qualified voters of Anne Arundel County,
Maryland for their adoption or rejection; and matters
related thereto.

amendments, Article X, "Miscellaneous", Section 1012,
"Separability" and Section 1013, "Citation"; by repealing
and reenacting, with amendments, Article XI, "Transitory
Provisions", Section 1102, "Effective date of this charter",
Section 1107, "Existing laws", Section 1108, "Reference in
state constitution and laws to county commissioners", and
Section 1110, "Abolition of certain boards, commissions and
offices"; to renumber the said sections; to insert the
actual effective date of the Charter in lieu of the formula
by which the date was determined; to submit said amendments
to the qualified voters of Anne Arundel County, Maryland,
for their adoption or rejection; and matters generally
related thereto.
