AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Sections l-214(d), 1-215V., B and C, and VII. F., and
1-216(a) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 1, "Administration", Subtitle 2,
"Personnel", Article II, "Classified Service", to add new
Section l-217(b)(14A) to said Code, Title, Subtitle and
Article, to alter salary grades of certain classified
positions within the Department of Public Works; to create
the position of Assistant Chief, Inspection Division, within
the classified service and provide a salary grade therefor;
to alter a certain classified service salary schedule; to
provide salaries of employees promoted to a higher grade
within the classified service; and generally relating to the
classified service in Anne Arundel County.

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and reenact, with amendments,
Section 13-400(a) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967
Edition and Supplements), Title 13, "Planning and Zoning",
Subtitle 4, "General Development Plan", to adopt certain
major revisions, with maps, and to generally update the Anne
Arundel County Master Plan for Water Supply and Sewerage
Systems.

AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to add new Subtitle 5, "Toxic
Chemicals", to Title 11, "Health and Welfare", of the Anne
Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplement), to follow
immediately after Subtitle 4, "Sanitary Landfills" thereof;
to prohibit the storage of the chemical polychlorinated
biphenyl with certain exceptions; to provide for the
registration of all such chemicals now stored; to prohibit
after a certain date the continued storage of said chemicals
now stored; to regulate the transportation of said chemicals
by requiring a permit therefor; to specify a fee for said
permit; to provide remedies for the enforcement of said
Subtitle; to provide criminal penalties for the violation of
said Subtitle; and generally relating to the regulation of
