Resolution No. 80-1

Resolution of the Mayor and Town Council of Colmar
Manor, Maryland adopted pursuant to the authority of Article
XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Sections 12 and 13
of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (Subtitle
"Home Rule) to amend the Charter of the Town of Colmar Manor
by repealing and reenacting Section 16-8(e) of the Charter
formerly referenced as Section 16-8(e) of the Code of Public
Laws, Prince George's County (1963 Edition), to change the
date of the regular election to the first Monday in May.

Section 1: Be it resolved by the Mayor and Town
Council of Colmar Manor, pursuant to Article 23A, Sections
12 and 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973
Replacement Volume, as amended), that Section 16-8 of the
Charter of the Town of Colmar Manor is hereby repealed and
reenacted as follows:

[Section 16-8(e) of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County, as found in the 1963 Edition and
1967 Supplement, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date February 28, 1980]

Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Sections 12
and 13 of Article 23-A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(subtitle "Home Rule") to amend the certain provisions of
the Charter of the Town of Colmar Manor, Maryland by
repealing and re-enacting Section 16-16 of the Charter of
the Mayor and Town Council of Colmar Manor authorizing the
Mayor and Town Council of Colmar Manor to borrow money for
any proper public purpose and to issue bonds or other
certificates of indebtedness as evidence thereof payable on
or before forty years after the date of issuance, removing
