CERTIFICATIONS
AN ACT concerning Talbot County - Repeal
Sabbath-Breaking Laws. For the purpose of repealing laws
which restrict and prohibit in Talbot County certain work,
labor, sales, sporting, and recreational activity, business
endeavors, mercantile pursuits, and certain other activities
on Sundays; providing that this Act shall be submitted to a
referendum of the voters of Talbot County for approval or
rejection; and generally relating to repealing
Sabbath-breaking laws that apply to Talbot County.
And it is hereby certified that at said election, 5,805
votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter 523 and
2,556 votes were cast against the adoption of said Chapter
523, the said Chapter 523 of the Acts of 1979 has therefore
been ratified by the qualified voters of Talbot County.

ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23-11 of Article
33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of Maryland
on November 4, 1980, an Act known as Chapter 742 of the Acts
of 1979 was submitted to the voters of the State of Maryland
in accordance with the provisions of said Act, said Act
being as follows:
AN ACT concerning Harford County - Alcoholic Beverages
(County Dispensary System). For the purpose of eliminating
in Harford County the County liquor dispensary system;
creating and generally relating to a new class of alcoholic
beverage license in that County; limiting the number of
certain licenses available; changing the distribution of
revenue received; and generally relating to alcoholic
beverages in Harford County.
And it is hereby certified that at said election,
31,253 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter 742
and 14,879 votes were cast against the adoption of said
Chapter 742, the said Chapter 742 of the Acts of 1979 has
