STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23-11 of Article
33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of Maryland
on November 4, 1980, an Act known as Chapter 204 of the Acts
of 1979 was submitted to the voters of the State of Maryland
in accordance with the provisions of said Act, said Act
being as follows:
AN ACT concerning Queen Anne's County - County
Commissioner Elections. For the purpose of creating a
certain number of County Commissioner Election Districts in
Queen Anne's County; providing for the election of County
Commissioners by a general vote of the County; providing for
primary elections; establishing residency requirements;
clarifying language; and providing for a referendum by the
qualified voters of Queen Anne's County.
And it is hereby certified that at said election, 2,880
votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter 204 and
4,276 votes were cast against the adoption of said Chapter
204, the said Chapter 204 of the Acts of 1979 has therefore
failed ratification by the qualified voters of Queen Anne's
County.

Maryland, Done at the City of Annapolis, this 24th day of
November, In the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand, Nine
Hundred and Eighty.
