In subsection (a)(2) of this section, the
reference to "any subsequent violation of the
same provision" is substituted for "each
subsequent offense" to clarify that a subsequent
violation refers only to a violation of the same
provision. The General Assembly may wish to
consider whether "any subsequent offense" should
be revised to read "any subsequent violation of
this subtitle".

7-801. SHORT TITLE.

THIS TITLE MAY BE CITED AS THE "MARYLAND NURSE PRACTICE
ACT".

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as Art.
43, § 302.

The reference to the "Maryland Nurse Practice
Act" is substituted for the present reference to
"Nurse Practice Act". This change is made to
achieve uniformity among the various short title
provisions in this article.

The only other changes are in style.

7-802. TERMINATION OF TITLE.

SUBJECT TO THE EVALUATION AND REESTABLISHMENT
PROVISIONS OF THE REGULATORY PROGRAMS EVALUATION ACT OF
1978, THE PROVISIONS OF THIS TITLE AND OF ANY RULE OR
REGULATION ADOPTED UNDER THIS TITLE SHALL TERMINATE AND BE
OF NO EFFECT AFTER JULY 1, 1983.
