the club owner to sell only beer at any place other than his
regular place of business on Sundays between [8 a.m.] 12
NOON and midnight notwithstanding daylight saving time for
an additional A license fee of five dollars ($5.) per each
Sunday he elects to hold a "picnic".
90.
(a) (1) No retail dealer holding a Class B or C
license shall be permitted to sell any alcoholic beverage at
a bar or counter on Sunday.
(2) Provided, that in Anne Arundel County it
shall be lawful to sell, vend, serve, deliver and/or consume
any alcoholic beverages permitted by law to be sold in the
first, second, third, fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth
districts of Anne Arundel County at any bar or counter on
any day on which the sale of alcoholic beverages is
permitted by law.
(3) Provided that in Caroline County a Class B
and Class C beer or beer, wine and liquor licensee may sell
alcoholic beverages at a bar or counter on Sunday.
(4) In Baltimore City, a Class B and a Class C
beer and light wine or beer, wine and liquor licensee may
sell alcoholic beverages at a bar or counter on Sunday.
(5) IN WASHINGTON COUNTY, A CLASS B AND CLASS C
ON-SALE LICENSEE MAY SELL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON SUNDAY FROM
12 NOON TO 12 MIDNIGHT.
(b) (2) (i) This subsection is applicable to Caroline,
Cecil, Dorchester, Garrett, except as provided in (5) of
this subsection, Harford, Kent, Queen Anne's, Somerset,
Talbot, [Washington except as provided in (7) of this
subsection,] and Worcester (except as otherwise provided)
counties.
(ii) [It does not apply to or affect
special Class C licenses issued under the provisions of this
article[, or apply to special Class C licenses issued in
Washington County for temporary use.].
(III) IN WASHINGTON COUNTY THIS SECTION:
1. [This section does] DOES not
require the holder of any Class A (off-sale) beer license
[in Washington County] to close his place of business on
Sunday provided the licensee shall close that part of his
place of business from which beer is sold[.]; [This section
does not apply to any Class B beer, beer and light wine or
beer, wine and liquor license (on-sale) hotel and restaurant
in Washington County whose total food sales comprise at
least 65 percent of its total sales volume, or to any Class
C beer, wine and liquor license (on-sale) club in Washington
County, and under either of the class of licenses it is
