FOR the purpose of providing that in Washington County
certain on-sale license holders may sell alcoholic
beverages on Sunday during certain hours; limiting
certain provisions of the Washington County special
"picnic" license; providing that the limited provisions
of the special "picnic" license take effect upon the
renewal eg of the license or upon the issuance of a new
license; and providing for an additional fee.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
25.
(e) In Washington County there shall be a special
Class C (on-sale) beer, wine and liquor license, which shall
be issued solely to clubs having an annual on-sale beer,
wine and liquor license. This special license shall entitle
the licensee to sell alcoholic beverages at any place other
than its regular place of business for a period not to
exceed five days at a daily fee of ten dollars ($10.00)
except on Sunday. There shall be an additional special
license issued to all Class C licensee holders permitting
them to sell only beer on their premises on Sunday between
the hours of 8 a.m.] 12 Noon and midnight notwithstanding
daylight saving time changes for an annual license fee of
$250. or by paying a five dollar weekly fee for each Sunday
they elect to stay open. This special license, referred to
locally as a "picnic" license, shall also permit PERMITTING
