Article 41 - Governor - Executive and Administrative

Departments
Section 486(b)
Annotated Code of Maryland

(1978 Replacement Volume and 1980 Supplement)
(As enacted by Chapter 754 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1980)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Financial Institutions

2-202.

(a)  The Banking Board consists of the following [four]
EIGHT members:

(1)  [The] AS A NONVOTING EX-OFFICIO MEMBER,
THE State Comptroller; and

(2)  [Three] SEVEN members appointed by the
Governor, with the advice of the Secretary of Licensing and
Regulation.

(b) (1) Of the [three] SEVEN appointed members[, the
Governor shall appoint one each from nominees submitted by
the organization to be represented by that member, as
follows]:

(i) One shall represent the Baltimore
Clearing House;

(ii) One shall represent the Associated
Mutual Savings Banks of Baltimore; [and]

(iii) One shall represent the Maryland
State Bankers' Association[.];

(IV)  ONE SHALL BE AN ECONOMIST;

(V)  ONE SHALL BE A CERTIFIED PUBLIC
ACCOUNTANT; AND
