(ii) All other appurtenances and equipment
useful or designed for use in the handling of air carrier
service, general aviation activities, and other related
activities open to the public.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT concerning

Ridesharing - Vanpools

FOR the purpose of defining ridesharing and vanpool
operation; prohibiting insurers from establishing a
higher rate classification for certain vehicles used in

car pools than for private passenger vehicles;

providing incentives for employers and employees to
enter into ridesharing arrangements; eliminating
vanpools from the Road Tax on Motor Carrier Law;
exempting employers from liability under certain
circumstances; providing an exemption under Workmen's
Compensation while employees are participating in
ridesharing; clarifying the license requirements for
driving a vanpool vehicle; providing for the consistent
use of vanpools; and generally relating to ridesharing
and vanpool operations.
