AN ACT concerning

Maryland Industrial Development
Financing Authority (MIDFA)

FOR the purpose of enlarging the definition of "public use
airport" to mean any privately or State owned area that
is established for the landing and taking off of
aircraft and that is open to flight operations by the
public; and making this Act an emergency measure.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Financial Institutions

13-101.

(p) (1) "Public use airport" means any privately OR
STATE owned area that is established for the landing and
taking off of aircraft and that is open to flight operations
by the public.

(2) "Public use airport" includes any one or
more or combination of:

(i) Lands, airfield improvements, terminal
area improvements, general aviation facilities, air cargo
facilities, general site improvements, utilities, roads,
streets, parking lots, and other facilities useful or
designed for use in connection with the operation of a
public use airport; and
