(22) (18) IS DISCIPLINED BY A LICENSING OR
DISCIPLINARY AUTHORITY OR CONVICTED BY A COURT OF ANY STATE
OR COUNTRY FOR AN ACT THAT WOULD BE GROUNDS FOR DISCIPLINARY
ACTION UNDER THIS SECTION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

Hazardous Waste Siting Board - Consideration of
Proposed Facility Location

FOR the purpose of clarifying certain language regarding the
Hazardous Waste Siting Board's consideration of the
geological stability of a proposed facility location
and its effect on public and private water supplies;
and prohibiting the use of a facility site under
certain circumstances.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

health and the environment by ensuring the availability of
sites and properly designed facilities to dispose of, reuse,
recycle, incinerate, or otherwise render nonhazardous,
hazardous waste materials and to eliminate illegal dumping
