publication in the Register and the date fixed in the notice
for the hearing, FOR THE MEETING, or for the termination of
the opportunity to be heard is:

(1)  Not less than the time specifically
prescribed for the publication of the notice by law, or

(2)  Not less than 15 days if no time for
publication is specifically prescribed by law, without
prejudice, however, to the effectiveness of any notice of
[less than] 5 TO 15 days when it is reasonable.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

CHAPTER 330

(Senate Bill 984)

AN ACT concerning

Alcoholic Beverages - Special and Temporary Licensees -

Baltimore City

FOR the purpose of providing that special and temporary
license holders need not purchase beer and light wine
from retail dealers in Baltimore City the holder of a
Class C special beer, wine, and liquor license may
purchase beer and light wine from a wholesale dealer.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 25(c)(1)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1981 Replacement Volume)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

25.

(c) (1) Special beer, wine and liquor license, Class
C, which entitles the holder to exercise any of the
privileges conferred by this class of license for the use of
any person holding a bona fide entertainment conducted by a
club, society, or association at the place described for a
