NOT BE LIMITED BY TITLE 16 OF THE HEALTH OCCUPATIONS ARTICLE
WITH RESPECT TO THE PRACTICE OF SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY IN AN
EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION.
7-301.
(d) (3) With the advice of the school principal,
supervisor, pupil personnel supervisor, or visiting teacher
and with the written recommendation of a licensed physician
OR A STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION CERTIFIED or [certified]
LICENSED psychologist, the county superintendent may:
(i) Make other appropriate provisions for
the free education of any student excepted from attendance
under paragraph (2) of this subsection; or
(ii) Permit the parents or guardians of
that student to withdraw him from public school, for as long
as the attendance of the child in a public school would be
detrimental to his progress or his presence in school would
present a danger of serious physical harm to others.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the State
Board of Examiners of Psychologists shall issue a license to
practice psychology to each individual who is currently
certified by it on the effective date of this Act.
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

Health Occupations - Waterworks and Waste Systems
Operators and Well Drillers
FOR the purpose of adding two new titles to the Health
Occupations Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
to be known as "Title 20. Waterworks and Waste Systems
Operators" and "Title 21. Well Drillers", to revise,
restate, and recodify the laws of this State relating
and pertaining to waterworks and waste systems
operators and well drillers; reorganizing and
standardizing the structure of the laws relating to
these health occupations; conforming language and
certain provisions relating and pertaining to the
licensing, registration, and certification of certain
