(C) THE SALARY FOR THE CHARLES COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

(1)  $15,000 PER YEAR FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1983

(2)  $16,000 PER YEAR FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1984

(3)  $17,000 PER YEAR FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1985

(4)  $18,000 PER YEAR FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1986.

[(b)] (D) The County Commissioners shall receive no
mileage for attending regular meetings on Tuesday and
Wednesday of any week, but shall be reimbursed for mileage,
tolls and parking expenses incurred in travel to other
meetings in connection with their duties as County
Commissioners. Reimbursement shall be made upon the
submission of vouchers for the expenses monthly and after
the approval of the vouchers by the three County
Commissioners.

85.

(A) THE SALARY FOR THE TREASURER IS:

(1)  $22,000 PER YEAR FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1983

(2)  $23,000 PER YEAR FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1984

(3)  $24,000 PER YEAR FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1985

AND

(4) $25,000 PER YEAR FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1986.

(B) THE TREASURER [The said treasurer shall receive
the annual compensation provided for in Article 25 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition as amended from
time to time), title "County Commissioners," and] shall
receive no other fees or compensation whatsoever from any
other source for the performance of his duties as treasurer
other than for sale of license tags for motor vehicles;
provided, however, that he shall receive an allowance for
clerical expenses in the amount of $800.00 per year. The
said treasurer shall have the authority to appoint a deputy
treasurer, who shall be authorized to act in his place.
