IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATE BUDGET, EACH MEMBER OF THE
BOARD IS ENTITLED TO:

(1)  $25 FOR EACH DAY ON WHICH THE MEMBER IS
ENGAGED IN THE DUTIES OF THE MEMBER'S OFFICE; AND

(2)  REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES UNDER THE
STANDARD STATE TRAVEL REGULATIONS.

(D) STAFF.

THE BOARD MAY EMPLOY A STAFF IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
STATE BUDGET.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsections (a) and (c) of this section
are new language derived without substantive
change from the last sentence of Art. 43, §
501(c) and from Art. 43, § 509(b).

Subsections (b) and (d) of this section are added
as standard language.

In subsection (a) of this section, the present
provision calling for a quorum of a "majority of
the Board" is restated as a "majority of the full
authorized membership of the Board". This
language conforms with Board practice. As to the
current "full authorized membership" of the
Board, see § 3-202(a)(1) of this subtitle.

As to subsection (c) of this section, the
Standard State Travel Regulations are adopted by
the Department of Personnel with the approval of
the Board of Public Works.

3-205. MISCELLANEOUS POWERS AND DUTIES.

(A) POWERS.

IN ADDITION TO THE POWERS SET FORTH ELSEWHERE IN THIS
TITLE, THE BOARD MAY:

(1)  WITHOUT PREJUDICE, PARTIALITY, OR

DISCRIMINATION REGARDING ANY SCHOOL OF CHIROPRACTIC, ADOPT
ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS TO CARRY OUT THE PROVISIONS OF
THIS TITLE;

(2)  SUMMON WITNESSES, ADMINISTER OATHS, TAKE
AFFIDAVITS, AND TAKE TESTIMONY ABOUT MATTERS THAT RELATE TO
THE DUTIES OF THE BOARD; AND

(3)  IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATE BUDGET,
AUTHORIZE PAYMENT OF FEES AND TRAVEL EXPENSES OF WITNESSES
WHO TESTIFY IN ANY PROCEEDING BEFORE THE BOARD.

(B) DUTIES.
