                                         August y^e. 25^th. 1702
        From which S^d. next Court to wit the 23^d. day of June 1702 ~~was~~ This Cause
        was Cont^d. by the Court untill y^e. Next Court. At which S^d next Court held
        On this twenty fifth day of August 1702 Comes as well the S^d Plaint^f. by
        his Att^ry afd As the S^d. Def^t. by his S^d. Att^ry who further defends the force
        And injury when &c^a. And for plea Saith True it is that Jn^o. Pemberton
        in his life time did recover the afd Judg^t. ~~ag^t~~ In the plaintifs declⁿ
        Menconed for the Sume of three thousand four hundred twenty
        Seven pounds of tobacco; But Since the S^d. Recovery the S^d. Defend^t.
        by protestation Sayth that he hath paid and Satisfyed upon y^e.
        Account of the Said Judg^t: the full Sume of three thousand Six hund:
        :red Sixty four pounds of tob^o: As by An Account hereunto Annexed
        And herein Court produced appeares all which he is ready to
        aver and therefore Prays discount According to act of Assembly

                An Exact Account of tobacco paid John Pemberton in his
        life time and to his Ex^rx. Since his death upon the Account of a
        Judg^t. obtained by Said John in Talbot County Court &c^a: ag^t: S^d
        Richardson                                                                                     lb tob^o.

	To one hhd of tob^o. prized w^tt n^t. p^d. Sd John in his life time	800
	to 2 hhds more w^tt. n^t: each 500^lb tob^o. p^d. Dito	1000
	to one hhd more w^tt. n^t. p^d. d^o.	510
	To one hhd more p^d. d^o. w^tt. n^t.	428
	to one hhd more p^d. d^o. w^tt. n^t:	436
	To one hhd paid Said Ex^rx Since S^d John’s death w^tt n^t:	490
	Summa ~ ~	3664

        Which Said Declⁿ, Transcript, plea & Acc^o. being by the Court heard
        And fully understood It is by them Considered the Same day and year afd
        that the Said Account of the def^t. whereof he the S^d Defend^t. prays
        discount according to Act of Assembly be dicounted accordingly
        And that therefore the Said Marg^t. Pemberton take Nothing by her
        Writt or Judg^t. afd but be in Mercy for her false Calmour And it
        is likewise Considered by the S^d. Court the same day and year y^t. the Said
        Anthony Richardson recover ag^t. the Said Marg^t. Pemberton the Sume
        of two hundred and twenty one ————— pounds of tobacco by the
        Court Adjudged him for his Costs and Charges in this behalf Laid
        Out and Expended according to the form of the Statute ~
