        At which Said next Court the Plaintf. & Deft. by their Attorys
        afd. And by Consent of prties this accon is Contd. untill next Cort
                from which Said next Court to wit the 24th. day of March
        Anno Dom 170½ All proceedings being Contd. by virtue of
        An Act of Assembly entituled An Act for releif Of Kent and Calvert
        Counties untill the first Tuesday of Aprill this Accon was Contd.
        accordingly.
                          At Which Said first Tuesday in Aprill to wit the
        Seventh day of the Same Month Anno Dom 1702 Cometh
        As well the Said Plaintf. by his Attry afd as the Said Deft:
        by his Sd Attry Who further defendeth the force and Injury
        when &ca. And for plea Says that the plaintf. his accon
        Against the Said Defendt: he Ought not to have and
        Maintaine for that the Said Defendt. Sayth that Since
        the Passing ye. Said Obligations in the Plaintifs decln menconed
        the Said Defendt. And his decd wife Joyce Toaes (who was the
        Relict and Admrx of Sutton Quiney decd who Sealed &
        Delivered the obligations afd) did pay unto & Satisfy unto
        the Said Wm ffrisby the Said Sume of twelve hundred
        forty Eight pounds of tobacco in Said declarn Contained as
        by An Account hereunto Annexed And herein Court brott
        Appeares All which he is ready to Averr and therefore
        prays Discount According to Act of Assembly. Earle pr Dfte
May ye. 10th. |      Mr. William Frisby Dr lb tobo
1699 : — |      To one hhd of tobacco paid As pr receit 482
