      y^e afs^d Richard Jagoe y^e 18^th Daÿ of Jan^rÿ an^o Dñi 1702 near Chest^r. riv^r in y^e S^d Countÿ w^thin y^e Jurisdiction
      of this Court bÿ his Certaine writeing under his hand and Seal & here in Court brought whose Date is y^e Daÿ &
      year aboves^d Sum^e of 4000^ls of merchantable leafe tob^o in Cask to Containe y^e Same att Some Convenient Landing
      on Chester Riv^r on y^e 10^th Daÿ of 9b^r. yⁿ next Ensueing nev^rtheless y^e afs^d Richard y^e afs^d Sum^e of 4000^ls of tob^o unto
      y^e S^d Jn^o on or before or at anÿ time after y^e S^d 10^th Daÿ of 9b^r. Dureing y^e S^d Jn^os lifetime he that not paid
      nor unto y^e S^d Marÿ in her Capacitie afs^d Since y^e Death of y^e S^d Jn^o alltho^h y^e Same to Doe he hath been often bÿ her re=
      quired but y^e Same to rend^r. hath Gainsaÿd and as yet Doth Gainsaÿ and unjustlÿ Detaine whereupⁿ. She Saith She is worse & Dam
