Salt vallue four Shills and Six pence of like moneÿ afsd being ye prpr goods of him ye Sd Jno Sallter wthout leave or Lÿcence first had & obtained Either fro ye Sd Jno Sallter himselfe, wife or overseer Contrarÿ to – Justice & in Contempt of our Sd Ladÿ ye Qn. yt now is &ca to ye Great Damãge of ye Sd Jno Sallter & agt ye form of ye act of assemblÿ afsd bÿ wth accon hath accrewed to him ye Sd Jno Sallter as well for ~ our Said Ladÿ ye Qn. as for himselfe to require and have of ye afsd Jno Nichoalson ye afsd two thousand pounds of tobacco Nevertheless ye afsd Jno Nichoalson allthoh often required ye afsd two thousand pounds of tobacco unto ye Sd Jno Sallter hath not yett rendrd but ye Same to him hitherto to rendr. hath alltogether Gainsayd and as yett Doth Gain = Saÿ Whereupon ye Sd Jno Sallter Saith yt he is worse & hath Damãge to ye vallue of four thousand pounds of tobacco and thereupon as well for our Ladÿ ye Queen as for himselfe he brings this Suit &ca Pledg prosct Phillipson pr Qr John Doe Richard Roe And The Said John Nichoalson bÿ Jacob Covington his attrÿ apprd and wth leave Imparled untill nextCourtye Same Daÿ was Given the pltf allsoe att wch Said next Court This accon was Continued untill this prsent Court viz this 27th Daÿ of March anno Dñi 1705 when comes ye Sd pltfs bÿ ye attrÿ afsd Sd Deft maÿ appr to ye Declon afsd, and ye Sd Deft bÿ his Sd attrÿ apprs who Defends ye force and Enjurÿ and for plea Saith That he is not Guiltÿ and of this he putts himselfe upon the Countrÿ Covinton pr ye Defce And the pltfs in like manr Phillipson pr Qre Issue Joyned Thereupon Comãnd is Given to ye Sherf of Kent Countÿ yt he Imediatelÿ Cause to Come here twelve &ca bÿ whom &ca who neither &ca because as well &ca and ye Sd Sherf maketh retn of his Sd prcept ye Same Daÿ and year and Saith yt he hath here readÿ twlve &ca as bÿ his Sd prcept he was Comãnded to witt Charles Wright, Edward Elliot Richard Mason Edward Head Geo: ffaxon Jno Loÿde Peter Green Wm.
