  Sterg one brand Iron for ye branding of horses of ye vallue of Seaven

  Shills Sterg and one Lock for a Door of ye vallue of four Shills &

  Six pence which from himhe unjustlÿ Deatines —
      And whereupon ye Sd John bÿ Michael Earle his attrÿ Complaines & Saith yt whereas
      on ye 15th Daÿ of 9ber ano Dñi 1702 in Sd Countÿ wthin ye Jurisdiction of this Court
      for a Certaine Sume of tobacco between ye Sd Mathew & ye Sd John and then &
      there Secured to be paid bÿ ye Sd John unto ye Sd Mathew Delivered unto ye
      Said Matthew ye afsd Gune brand Iron & Lock ye vallue in ye whole amõunting
      to ye Sume of one pounds Sixteen Shills & Six pence Sterg to have Some Impr -
      fections amended in ye afsd Chattells bÿ him ye Sd Matthew being a Smith —
      as afsd and to have ye Same Chattells redelivered unto him ye Sd John in Some —
      reasonable time afterwards when thereunto required yett nevertheless ye
      Sd Matthew The afsd Gunne brand Iron & Lock unto ye Sd John although
      often requested he hath not nor Either of ye Sd Chattles redelivered but ye
      Same to redeliver he hath Denÿed and refused and Still Doth Denÿ & refuse
      and unjustlÿ Detains to ye Damãge of ye Sd John 3ls:13s: Sterg and thereupon he
